The 10th Anniversary celebrations of Nrutha Kala Kendra Dance Academy, Toronto and the Nrutholsavam was held On November 10th 2012 @6pm at St.Francis Xavier Secondary School, Mississauga.

Preetha Kandanchatha is the founder of Nrutha Kala Kedra Dance Accademy. She started Nrutha Kala Kedra with 4 students in 2002 . Now it has established in 4 locations:Scarborough, Missisauga, Brampton and Ajax, with more than 150 students.

Arangettam of a Canadian Malayalee Girl in Kerala

The dance arangettam of Uthara, daughter of Canadian parents GayathriDevi and Vijayakumar was held at Jayasree Auditorium, Manjeri in Kerala on 19th May 2012.

In the Arangettam program, Uthara performed two hours long Bharthanatyam concert with 8 Bharathanatyam items.

Sneha Jacob wins Bharatanatyam Competition

Sneha Jacob daughter of Jacob Zachariah and Sheeba Paul (resident of Mississsauga, Ontario) wins the Bharatanatyam competition conducted by the Toronto Malayalee Samajam.

Sneha is a student of Nirtha Kala Kendra. She has been practicing Bharatanatyam since 2004 under Preetha Murali and Sujatha Ganesh.

She is 10 Years of age and a very talented young lady!!!
