Vinod Mankara reveals what is lacking in malayalam cinema today
Vinod Mankara, a writer, film maker and senior programme producer at Asianet Television, reveals that present Malayalam Cinema is lacking talented and “dedicated” Movie makers and good scripts. In his article published in the Madhyamam Weekly, he is criticising the ‘trend’ of copying ‘stuffs’ from foreign movies and the entry of new producers who are illiterate in the film field.
Vinod Mankara, began his career as a freelance journalist for print media and has worked in Delhi and other major cities in India. his career in electronic media began at Surya TV, where he served as programme manager. he has been chief manager, programmes at MET, a television channel based in Dubai. He had a stint at Indiavision as chief producer .
