Sujatha-Shweta: Award Winning Mother-Daughter Singing Sensations First time in Canada

MISSISSAUGA: A Sujatha Mohan performance anytime anywhere is indeed special! But when she’s joined on stage by her daughter, Shweta, the resulting musical energy is truly magical!

Sujatha and Shweta Mohan are singers from the south of India with playback and stage performances with famous singers and music directors including K. J. Yesudas and A. R. Rahman, They have a huge fan base in the Malayalam-, Tamil- and Hindi-speaking communities across the globe. Together they have won more than 50 prestigious musical awards.

As part of a whirlwind tour of North America and performances in many US cities Sujatha and Shweta Mohan visit Canada to regale GTA residents with a musical gala that showcases the singing talents of this mother-daughter duo.

They perform at ‘The Meeting House’ 2700 Bristol Circle, Oakville on Friday May 4, 2012 invited by the St. Peter’s Syriac Orthodox Church of Canada, Mississauga.

Filling the stage with more vibrant entertainment and talent are Ramesh Pisharody, comedian; Subi Suresh, actress; Vivekanandan, violinist and winner of the Idea Star Singer contest; Anand, winner of the Amritha Superstar contest. Also performing exciting Bollywood dance numbers will be the local dance group “Jadoo Entertainment”.
